Nobody knows how good he will be yet, not many teams play the Swansea style so he may fit in, we just don't know at the moment.

Hell I hope Rodgers knows what he is doing on this one, Lita is a high maintenance baby, that needs to be thrown out with the bathwater if you ask me!................

Doesn't seem to be in the same class as some of the others we have been linked with lately. If it hadn't been reported that Buck has been after his signature for some time, I'd be regarding this as something of a panic buy.

I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see this guy as a good fit for us. Has an "iffy" reputation in the dressing room and I don't see the quality - certainly not to the same degree as some of the foreign players linked to us, even though those links were proved to be tenuous.

I'm not saying that Lita is a bad player but he'll bring no surprises to the table. Soriano etc were genuine quality and unknown to Premiership defences. Lita, for me, is a tidy striker who won't exactly strike fear into defenders - a routine player who will do a job but not much more.

I hope I'm wrong and I hope Buck isn't paying too much for him. I'll be totally pissed off if it transpires that we could have got one of the foreign strikers for a couple of million more - imo, worth paying the extra. I'm feeling that Lita is a compromise. We'll see.

Agree Ivor, pretty much how I see it, though I'm wondering if Rodgers is getting carried away a bit, not the sort of player to bring harmony to the dressing room!.............

Spot on Ivor. For the first time I'm questioning Brendan's judgement, but it's his call.

I'm never going to question Brendan's judgement, his judgement got us to the Premier League, If he thinks he will fit into the team then I think we should go for him, Brendan must know how much of a baby he is, and I'm sure Brendan will give him a kick up the arse, We will just have to see.

I don't think this is a panic buy, there is plenty of time left of the transfer window, Brendan knows who he wants.
