Great bloke! I'll never forget standing outside the players entrance at Villa Park before an FA Cup semi! The Chelsea coach pulled up and they all got out including Ken Bates who engaged us a load of banter! It happened to be a very windy spot and his hair was blowing all over the place. He asked if anybody had a comb, and I gave him mine. He gave it back saying "sorry about the dandruff!"
He put us where we are today , God bless him!
