Looks as though we're going to be letting Agard leave. Found the write up weird in the post saying something along the lines of now we'll be letting KA leave it means we'll definitely be bringing in a striker.... Makes that sound as though we have to let him leave before we can bring another in, which is a load of ****. I do like Agard, a few times this season he's changed the game when he came on only to disappoint when he starts. He could be a decent striker at this level should he get a run of games. Still though, whilst he's under contract and seemingly out of favour/being replaced, let's get some money for him. You're spot on ROD but remember those were players for League One, although that business got us where we are I suppose.
Should we let him go before we have signed a replacement though? Rumours suggest we won't be allowed to sign Matthews until Sunderland sign a new RB. That seems the sensible way to go. We already have a small squad and have found it hard to get players we want to sign up.
AGARD suffered because we did not have a player like Tomlin ...Wade stood down Smith was out I am not saying he would have set the pitch on fire but has his moments . I would put him on loan till Christmas ..save some of his wages make sure we get a replacement then decide... Junior has played a different stratedgy to SC but how much of that was influenced by WE and JP getting the formula and wins before he took over and he has had them both in back room till now ... his time was spent on survival . his real time as boss started one minute after our loss at QPR ... Junior starts 2016/17 with a clean sheet .. he had the making of a reasonable squad ..less the loanee's and has now to put a squad together .... with who we have we could field a team but struggle ..yes we have 3 new faces but we need 3 more at least defence playmaker attack...
