Kieran Agard out for 6-8 weeks following knee surgery Down to 1 striker at the moment! http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/agard-undergoes-knee-surgery-2519021.aspx
Haven't read the article (cant at work) but could they not have scheduled this after the last game of the season, or even before if it was a known problem ? It's a blow either way !
Happened while running last week - here's the article: Kieran Agard is set to miss the start of the new football season after undergoing surgery on his knee. The former Rotherham United striker locked his knee whilst engaging in some running last week. Following a successful operation, Agard is poised for six to eight weeks on the sidelines. City’s head physiotherapist Steve Allen told bcfc.co.uk: “Unfortunately Kieran suffered cartilage damage in his knee whilst doing some running two days before he was due back. “He had a bucket-handle tear of his meniscus and underwent surgery. The surgery was a success and he’s on the road to recovery now. “He’s going to be out for six to eight weeks. It’s a matter of getting his range of motion back and his strength back before getting him into training again.”
