Just thought I'd pop by and say 'hi' with a thread to keep me going until Sunday. Any of you lot going to the match? White Hart Lane's not the most glamorous ground, unless you like corrugated iron and stadiums built in council estates but it's a good atmosphere and a friendly enough place when we're not all rioting. I take it you're all enjoying your first season in the Premiership, out of interest did any of you see this coming? Obviously I'd expect your fans to be a bit biased in your chances of staying up but at the moment you're not just staying up, you're comfortably mid table with a team playing some great football, I certainly didn't expect that! This game's going to be hugely important for us to win. We've been playing some good football lately but not getting the goals which now leaves us with the prospect of a 6th league game without a win would give Chelsea a great shot at finishing 4th, above us. You guys on the otherhand only really have pride left to play for so hopefully you guys will let us win if we let you have Caulker for another season
Deal. Should be a good game. Two good footballing sides for sure. If we turn up we'll give you a game, don't worry.
i dont think any jacks or jackies can honestly say we would have a fantastic season back in may, we were excited and thrilled but to say we would do as good as we have then no. sundays game should be a cracker but its a shame we cant play caulker as he has been a magor part of our success. He imo is good enough to get into spurs first team next season but if harry dont think so then i hope he comes back to us for another season......good luck for the rest of the season except against us which goes without saying, im going for a draw....
We did a poll about where we would finish just after we got promoted. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/52366-What-Position-Will-The-Swans-Finish
Please don't! Caulker's been very highly regarded at the club for a few years now. He seems to make the step up whenever he's given the opportunity. Given that we're almost certain to be in Europe again next season I'd expect Caulker to be kept and given games as King can't play 2 games in a week and Dawson and Gallas both seem to pick up a lot of injuries.
We have a prediction league and I've probably got the Swansea game wrong more than any other team. We seem to win when we probably shouldn't and vice versa. So on the basis you'd expect Spurs to win, it must be a Swans win.
I'm the world's worst! I thought we'd lose to Man City, draw at Wigan, lose/draw at Fulham and beat Everton!! I don't do the pools.
And if you did they wouldn't be worth checking On our prediction league we only predict Tottenham games and our goals scorers. I've only got 2 correct scores this season, the 4-0 against Liverpool and the 5-0 against Newcastle which tells you more about my optimism than anything else, to be honest
