Welcome back, I though you had gone a bit quiet mate. Not much to wright home about as yet, there has been no meltdowns, drama or posters banned as yet! Still got a while yet until the start of our new season so could all still kick off as yet!
Mate it is so slow. Ale and Hill sign again. TF shuts his twitter account with a definite 'we have learnt our lesson' final communication. No new signings LOADS of daft rumours. Jamie Redknapp possibly and inadvertently leaking that OBZ is not being offered a new contract. Basically, hurry up WC and get done so we can get on with interesting domestic issues again. Hope u had a good holiday.
Welcome home. Where did you go? Things should start to pick up from tomorrow (1st July) as this is the day when all the contracts from last season will have expired. We should get a clearer view of what Harry & Co have been doing since our Wembley win. The rumour mill will have a bit more truth to it too, hopefully.
That's the part of a summer break that always hurts I'm afraid. I wonder if such a job exists where you'd be on holiday and wishing you were at work?
When I had five kids aged nine and down (now 13 - 21), after a busy family vacation, returning to work was sometimes a relaxing proposition - you almost needed a vacation to get over the vacation! That's why for the past 27 years I've gone to the same spot for a couple of weeks each summer by the ocean on the Baie de Chaleurs, here in New Brunswick, generally the first two weeks of August (again this year) - the drive was 4 hours and with young kids, quite honestly that was as far as I really ever wanted to go away from home. You would arrive at the rented cottage right on the water (still only $400/wk), unpack, settle in and then enjoy the beach & ocean, seafood, crab & lobster & blueberries with the in-laws just 10 mins away to "share" the kids with.
You miss out on some REP but that has now been righted. Were still all here ................ as you circumnavigated the earth for your holidays, we did so with the computer screen ............... didn't realize it was so big!.
