I know this may seem of small significance in comparison to the whole film, but why did we ever let Dexter Blackstock leave! Incredibly stupid decision by Flavio, and one taken when Sousa was on Holiday! Was our top scorer at the time, and from what i can remember he werent half bad. Come back from a serious injury at Forest and is playing well now.
He probably missed a sitter or answered back. Tango ruled by fear and didnt like anyone standing up to him. The difference between the Asians who maintained their dignity throughout and the Italian duo couldnt be more polarised.
Based on the documentary, Sousa asked them to sign some more quality for him to play (I wasn't aware of that specific conversation before that), so to start financing it they arranged a transfer of a player that Sousa wasn't even naming as a sub. Sousa came back off holiday and complained as though they'd sold his first choice player. Top scorer or not, he wasn't going to score more goals while he was sat in the stand. EDIT: My view of the documentary as a whole as I put it on our board: In general I thought it was pretty good at showing what was going on for people who weren't already familiar with it, which is obviously the point. I actually thought in the first couple of seasons of it the fans were being made out to be more unreasonable in their hostility than was actually the case, it was maybe because I was trying to watch it whilst ignoring what I knew combining with them repeatedly having Briatore saying they'd put in £35M as though the fans didn't understand it. Most of that £35M was put in as loans by the owners so it wasn't like they were giving up the money.
