After the Fury of saturday night....

Discussion in 'Boxing' started by swimaway, Nov 14, 2011.

?

After the impressive perfomance this weekend from 1 of these fighters..what happens?

  1. Eubank beats Fury and makes us laugh out loud

  2. Fury beats Eubank by being just too big

  3. Henessy is a complete donkey ****house and would not risk it!

Howsabout Hennessy backs his bonkers claim that the Fury fight was the Hagler v Hearns of the heavyweights by giving the guy a proper fight..... against a Super Middleweight

Chris Eubank Jr looked sharp and if they managed to get the fight between Fury v Eubanks , my moneys on Eubanks!

I doubt this fight would happen until a couple of years further along the line.

An opinion is never 'silly'. A fight between these guys is SO unlikely but if you care to read between the lines..... I believe Fury is so over rated he 'could' be beaten by a skilful, elusive, lower weight novice. SIMPLE.

I'm sure David Haye could cut Tyson down like a tree, giving him 2st +. So your theory is testable, just about.

    who over-rates Tyson Fury?

Tyson Fury doesn't even over-rate Tyson Fury

    Fat Mick Hennessy????

The frustrating thing is that Tyson fury does have all the natural attributes to make a decent heavyweight. But his total lack of condition suggests he doesn't spend a lot of time in the gym. If he gets the right training team in place, puts the hard hours in, and gets some proper sparring, he might make up into a half decent fighter.

Theres an outside chance perhaps.... but that is not going to happen in the UK. He would need to get his act together, get focused on his career and get out to the US ala Khan, in my opinion.... and that aint gonna happen.

Wow. You know loads about boxing and all the fighters involved - including all the correct spellings of their surnames.

Sorry maybe a bit harsh. I agree with your principle, ei. Fury very overrated not that good and Eubank good prospect for the future.

But there is no way he going to make that weight and if the were to fight, it would be Fury everyday of the week.

Fury, got some fast hands throw some nice combos, 6'9, 250lbs, drops his left too low, big holes in his defence and is likely to be found out at the next level. Doesn't seem disciplined enough to make it either.

Eubank jr, looked decent against poor opposistion but far too early to tell as yet.

Fair point D4... but I am partial to the odd rant after a few beers on occasion.

Glad you recognised the principle base of the thread though!
