Despite all the criticism of Mr Webb I thought he did ok yesterday. It can't be easy sharing a radio commentary when it isn't your job and he at least didn't talk bollocks all afternoon. Bit monotone yes but not that bad given some I've heard. Funny clip by the way.
Having listened to Chris Webb on GoS..........commentating with Sparksy..........I thought he did OK.........rather a monotone voice,but I'm sure he can work on that if it annoys people..........unless your a ATD diehard of course.
To be fair to ATD on this one plymborn they were quite decent about his efforts rather than the usual rip him up no matter what attitude. The one thing that annoys me about ATD is the efforts to have a go at him at almost every turn even when it is not justified. I am aware there is previous but ATD have little appetite for letting it lie now whilst at the same time throwing stones at PASOTI accusing them of doing just that. His offer for example to post information on ATD as well as PASOTI was hardly greeted with much enthusiasm yet not long before people were criticising him for not including all football forums. Maybe too much water under the bridge and there is just no going back for some people.
Well sensible..........Chris Webb said to me in a (e-mail) awhile back, as I mentioned before that he hadn't heard of not606........and he said that when he had five minutes he would look into it. Maybe he hasn't found five minutes yet..........or he aint impressed enough to do anything about it. Also we are not recognized by GoS on there listings of Argyle supporting sites.......which I mentioned to them ........and the silence from them is deafening.
That's ok plymborn it keeps out the riff raff. Well, most of them anyway. One of my criticisms of him in particular is that as President he should make it his business to know. I have no problem with him being criticised when it is just and due but I do have a problem when it is for the sake of it. He will make plenty of gaffs all by himself without inventing something.
Don't know if anyone listened to the whole of the commentary on Saturday but the only Argyle site Webby mentioned was Pasoti, I like our site as it is and have been said before we can all say what we feel without fear of being told that we arn't a true supporter.
After that disclosure Sensible I'm still hyperventilating at the moment and then I'll have to go for a lie down in a darkend room before I think I will be in any fit state to answer that
