Of supporting nufc.... I may have had all I can take. I can deal with getting beat, Derby defeats, no cup runs etc etc... but my once proud club are now making me not want to watch anymore

If he really doesn't get involved in recruiting managers, scouts, etc, then he really needs to stop empowering incompetent people and we may have a chance in the future.

Is that serious - they have put the seaon tickets up? That is shocking even if the worst happens for you the parrachute payments will still surely go up so there is no need to up the ticket prices

My daughter's ST actually went down by almost half which is fair play.

my son's ticket has gone up by £200 because he turns 18 before next season
despite being a ticket holder and sitting next to me, never missing a cup or league game for the past 12 years
despite have a twice x 3 year paid up front season ticket
and now despite signing up for a 5 year deal (no opt out clause)
I argued with the ticket office when we took up the deal saying there was nothing in the contract that says what will happen when he turns 18
the fact at the time he was only 15 years old and wasn't legally responsible to sign any direct debit nor did he have a bank account to do it
I was told that I would have to pay for him up to the age of 21
I asked them what would be the cost of the season ticket when he turned 18
they didn't know but presumed it would be the same as a young adult season ticket 18-21 year old
now they are saying that he's an adult and should pay full price

so much for loyalty, £200 extra for championship ****e

Ahh gotcha. At worst they should gradually tickle up the price over a few seasons to soften the blow. A hike like that is taking the piss given the ****e we have to sit through.

This is what I thought would happen
it would of been on parity with the the other age group at least for the loyalty of signing a 5 year deal
    but no

someone I know, remembers me telling him about this, and that I threw all the papers up in the air at the ticket office in frustration
has told me the whole place is a joke

At the game yesterday, and I give up too. Not with the club, never, not even with the talentless and lazy ****ing players, nope, I wash my hand of our AWFUL home support.

"50,000 fans", "we deserve more because we always turn-up"... Yeah yeah yeah. We're good at paying for tickets, no doubt, but the only fans that turned up were the away fans, pretty much as usual.

In case you ****ing ghosts don't realise, we're going down. All I ask is you show some ****ing pride and sing for the remaining home games, because the premier league isn't defining quality of the club, and if you think so, you should buy a ticket religiously elsewhere.

Genuinely, I was ashamed sitting in the Gallowgate yesterday. Voiceless ****ers who only started to sing when "Steve McClaren, you're taking us down" and "You're getting sacked in the morning" went round. Looking at me like I was nuts for supporting my club. What makes such pathetic fans worthy of the premier league?

Hopefully all those ****ers who only go for premier league footy, and were moaning about giving up their tickets all game rather than supporting, **** off again.

    Well said.
Like I said on another thread, we may enjoy football better in the Championship so it may weedle out the PL only fans and take us back to a harder core of fans.

I hear you what you say JPF, as I have said supported the Toon for 43 years
but there has to be something on the pitch to support and shout about
most of the guys who sit around me have had season tickets there since the Leazes stand was built
and supported long before the premiership, quite a few of them have supported the Toon longer than me

the thing is, it's like getting kicked in the bollocks and saying go on have another go as it doesn't hurt...........
it does hurt, and it hurts deep
many of the lads are resigned to the fact that they will never see any good football in their lifetime whilst Ashley is there
