Transfer window due to shut at 11pm tonight so what would be your starting 11 ? P.s does the loan window stay open and how long for ?
Davis Clyne----Yoshida----Hooiveld----Fox Schneiderlin Lallana----Davis(c) Ramirez--------lee Lambert
--------------------Davis------------ ---Clyne------Yoshida----Hooiveld---Fox ------Lallana-----Schneiderlin----Davis------ ------Ramirez-----Lambert-------Mayuka
Starting 11: Davis Clyne Yoshida Hooiveld Fox Schneiderlin Davis Lallana Ramirez Lambert Mayuka Subs: Gazzaniga, Shaw, Richardson, Fonte, Cork, Lee, Rodriguez As good as JWP has been for us, I think Cork has more experience and has a bit more quality at the moment.
-----------------Davis------------ ---Clyne------Yoshida----Hooiveld---Fox ------Lallana-----Schneiderlin----Davis------ ------Ramirez-----Lambert/JayRod-------Mayuka
--------------------Kelvin------------------ ----Clyne------Yoshi-------Hoovy--------Fox ------Davis-------Morgan------------Lallana ------Ramirez------Lambert----------Mayuka
No loan window in the Prem Anyway, my team: K. Davis Clyne Yoshida Hooiveld Fox S. Davis Schneiderlin Lallana Ramirez Lambert Mayuka Subs: Gazzaniga, Fonte, Ward-Prowse, Rodriguez, Puncheon, Shaw, Cork
Seems like our first 11 pretty much picks itself now, I think Leemay get the nod ahead of Mayuka to start with though. The spine of the team are those that have got us here and then surrounded by exciting new signings, hopefully they can gel together quickly. Its an excitng team with different options coming off the bench. Can't wait for them all to get here and get going. Am I right in thinking that Ramirez, Mayuka and Yoshida won't be available until after the internationals?
--------------------Kelvin------------------ ----Clyne------Yoshi-------Hoover--------Fox ------Cork-------Morgan------------Lallana ------Ramirez------Lambert----------Mayuka/Lee
I could name my 18 man squad, but deciding which seven to leave on the bench is tough work. I don't envy Adkins when most/everyone is fit and available. Davis Gazzaniga Clyne Richardson Fonte Hooiveld Yoshida Fox Cork Morgan Davis Lallana Ramirez Guly Mayuka Lee Rodriguez Lambert (With Puncheon and JWP getting their fair share of selection, Shaw too).
Would change to 4-2-3-1 Clyne Yoshida Hoovield Fox Davis/Cork Schneiderlin Ramirez Lallana Lee Lambert
What's exciting is that I think we have OPTIONS depending on the opposition: Assuming we stick with the 4-3-3: Davis Clyne Yoshida Hooiveld Fox 2 from: {S Davis Scheiderlin Cork JWP} + Lallana Ramirez Rodriguez/Lambert Mayuka/Lee Subs: Gazza, Fonte, Shaw, 2 from {above}, the 2 left out strikers from above Only change from this I might make is Richardson instead of JWp on the bench - but when Cork comes back he can also be cover for RB position.
So, an interesting window guys. Who would everyone pick for the Arsenal game assuming full fitness etc? My selections are below.... --------------------Mayuka--------------------- --------Ramirez--------------Rodriguez-------- --------------------Lallana(c)------------------- ------Schneiderlin-------------S. Davis-------- --Fox------Hooiveld------Yoshida------Clyne-- --------------------K.Davis--------------------- Subs: Gazzaniga, Shaw, Fonte, Cork, Ward-Prowse, Lee, Lambert. I found that really tough...... Lallana and Ramirez could easily be the other way around, as could Mayuka and Rodriguez within the same formation. No combination of two from Rodriguez/Mayuka/Lambert/Lee would be a surprise for the roles alongside Ramirez as at the moment we really don't know there's much between them. Found it particularly tough on Richardson, Puncheon and Guly for whom I couldn't even find a space in the squad. Tough being (or pretending to be) manager hey?! Lat
It's early days into the new season, and I think the present defensive quota of the squad with cope over the seaosn. But Fonte and Hooiveld have been trying to cope with new degrees of quality. The fact that Man City, ManU and Arsenal were lined up in the first 4 games wasn't exactly an easy baptism, but to be given a finishing lesson by Wigan was a bit of a shock, But that's how the PL is and Saints will eventually learn how it goes. One could say Saints are getting several of their hardest games out of the way early on. Some others will see different writing on the wall. I see the opportunity to progress.
