Howdy folks The BBC is currently saying that Everton attacking midfielder Marouane Fellaini has a £22m clause in his contract. There have been rumours that his future at Goodison is uncertain. Should we bring him across town to play in red? Rodgers has said he wants a creative number 10 to join in the summer, and Fellaini could fit the bill. He is a good, strong and mobile attacking midfield who works hard, gets stuck in, gets in the box and scores goals. Here are some Fellaini stats: Fellaini has 29 goals in 155 games for Everton. That may not seem so good, but he has 9 goals in 18 games already these season, which is a goal every 2 games. In the league alone he has 8 goals and 3 assists in 16 games. But as we all know it is not all heroics with Fellaini. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: Hard work, strong, gets in the box, gets goals, gets assists, can defend well, good on the ball, creative, proven in the Premier League, he's from Belgium. Cons: He's controversial, has a temper, can be to aggressive on occasions, may have loyalties to Everton. Everton wouldnt like it, but if we triggered the clause they wont be able to stop us. I know there may be better options for this position who others around here would prefer, but they seem to be getting away. Holtby will join Spurs, Isco may join Chelsea and Arsenal are eyeing Belhanda. I do think there is no doubt that Fellaini would improve us. I look forward to Shogun's response to this thread.
He would no doubt improve our side but I wouldn't want him, too much water under the bridge IMO. It's a bit like saying we could get Rooney via a released clause, ignore the relism, how many of us would want him?
Is this right? decent player either way but is a complete dirty twat who the media would crucify if he played for us.
oh right Ok. good effort for a attacking midfielder but would still be carded a whole lot more playing for any other club in the prem (apart maybe from stoke)
please log in to view this image Youve been telling us that he's **** for years, surely he's off to someone like Wigan?
have to agree, will no doubt endear him more to you. We aren't United's feeder club either before anyone starts.
