Just a bizarre thing to ask that's all. It's hardly a select group is it. There's about a billion people and goddamn loads of footballers from the African continent. Country specific would be a bit more interesting, like who's the best player from Ivory Coast.

Stop having a hissy fit you plum. I was just making the point that it's an odd question. You may as well ask who the best player is in Europe, or what influence Europeans have at SAFC. It's impossible to do it anyway. A continent has such a massive number of different players in different positions. You'd be comparing strikers to defenders and so on, so who can say who is the 'best'?
The point is, which you missed at the start, is that the question WAS specific. WHO IS THE BEST AFRICAN PLAYER TO HAVE GRACED THE PREMIERSHIP? Just f*cking pick one and shut up because your stupidity is boring...just say a name and be gone.
