Wonder if clubs will be less willing to release players this time round. It may even be a case of players refusing to play due to the risks associated.

Nobodt wants to host it either.

    Which clubs may be effected?

As long as they don't host it in West Africa I doubt most clubs and countries will care. Outside Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Mali and their immediate neighbours, no country in Africa is any more of a risk than one anywhere else in the world. The US has more cases than all African nations bar those four and Nigeria.

The challenge, as you say, will be finding a host willing to deal with the risks, need for screening etc. Likely to be one of the more developed nations like Algeria, Egypt, Gabon and South Africa imo, tho' tbh Morocco is one of the most developed ones.
