Or is there such thing? Dont get me wrong Cisse (ivorian bound)' Diakite and M'bia are good and important players to us, but they have been sent off five times between them in less than 25 matches. They have cost us many valuable points and for what? Sheer stupidness and lack of calmness. Im begin to miss Joey now.......

    African discipline?

No worse than Robbie Savage, Bellamy and Ched Evans.

    Did I mention Ched Evans?

African football has only really progressed over the last decade and if any of you think back to your playing days can you remember being taught how to tackle correctly? We don't teach kids how to tackle under the FA coaching yet i recall as a ten year old being taught the correct way and which foot to lead with depending on body position. The truth is, the Africans have never been taught to tackle!

Mbia's tackling is OK just happens his head isn't. You're talking about Diakite and shouldn't make it general. But it's very depressing situation in the team. Mbia said that he didn't even nothing about QPR. Maybe he isn't happy about his transfer decision.

We'll let this one slide eh Igor?

Bob, i take no offence to your comments at all and put you very near the "top of the tree" when it comes to football comments, style, evealuation etc.
My problem is with the general concept of this thread. Seems very silly that players like cisse, traore, mbia, dejong, Drogba, Essien and Radabe have no discipline because they are from Africa..
What would be the case if they had had a Holiday in Africa.....? Dicipline every now and again..

    Silly thread mate !

I don't know who started the thread but im sure he didn't mean discipline as all are bad. I mean discipline in the art of tackling. Love watching the cameroons trying to bring down cannigia in the world cup!

There was absolutely no racist or about racism in this thread when i started it. All i was saying , that after january all our stupid sent-offs were done by african or african bound players except that brain fart by Barton. Cisse, Diakite, Taarabt and now M'bia were needlessly takin their red cards. How was that racist thread. If those players were from scandinavia so me or someone else would certainly have started a thread about lack of disciplene of scandinavian players. Grow up queenslander.

I think the differences in style and pace between the French league and the Prem might be more insightful.

And no I'm not a francophobe before anyone starts.

Stop it Igor..you asked / inferred that (our)African players have no disciplie because they are African..How is that not rascist?
I dont believe you are, thats why i said let it slide; but the fact that you cannot see what you have said is "worrying" to say the least.

Lets take a poll shal we....?

Do players fron Africa have no discipline because they are African?...

    Let us know..

IGOR..FYI.I'd love you to have grown up in a "black" household..you have no idea what you are talking about mate.,

i would swap my upbringing with anyone to live in a "white" household !! - happily

Discipline in the "black" households i know of, far surpasses that of anything i know about white households !! IMHO

yaeh thats it.all you whites are........!!!

Think you may need to grow up and see the world as others do..not through your rose tinted glasses !!!
Wouldn't expect a Scandinavian to understand though..but trust me !!!

After the game I was actually thinking exactly the same thing yesterday, thought about posting, but didn't want to get tagged as a racist by some of the politically correct folk here.

Diakite seems more settled & controlled now, and he is really putting in some good games, and Cissé hasn't really had too much impact due to lack of game time recently. He seems content to just pick up his big pay cheque and count down the months until he returns to France, as he has indicated.
