What with our current domestic plight , me and some of the lads need cheering up and something to look forward to, so we are planning to go to Morocco 2015 for the ACON. Anyone else interested in coming?, after all we have nearly 2 years to save up and its only Morocco , you could always buy a few carpets and flog them off back here at a decent profit to pay for the tour. <laugh>

I went to Morocco a few years back, it was a really nice country. Some of the scenery was breathtaking and Marrakesh was a very interesting city, interesting juxtaposition of the old medieval souks with the colonial boulevards. Also the main square (I forget the name) is good fun, very vibrant. Someone tried to sell me drugs there, I burst out laughing. Good times. So yes, I'd recommend Morocco.

Is that the square where they sell a wide variety of foods at lots of stalls. Sheep's eyeballs et al?

I can't remember the Arabic spelling - but the square pronounced phonetically is "Ja Melf'na" or something similar.

The wife wants to visit again.
