Will he be fit in time to feature? Great progress, but it’s a bit different playing ‘keepy-uppy’ without a committed defender trying to take you out!
Would be great to see him back in time for the run-in If not I would love to see an Afobe/Wells front line next season
Whilst my surgery was not so "intense" it still had an awful lot to with rebuilding and healing muscle ..after 3 months I was able to get back clambouring around mountain trails and suchlike ... probably the same stage as Benik is at at the moment... now 3 months further on I am about 80-90% to where I was 2 or 3 years ago … he will benefit from being in daily physio/medical/ training so his on going recovery likely to be around 6-8 weeks ….at least! LOOKING to be able to feature sometime in mid APRIL, he might get in on the last 2 or 3 games [ on the bench?]
the surgeon commented that he had seen less fit and [un ]healthy 50 year old's …. I put it down to broccoli sprouts and sea weed ….. wish I had eaten more carrots though as have to wear glasses to drive and read, although when out walking or in dim light eyes are fine
I always remember the Abe Lincoln quote about age ~ “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” Keep at it John...
