Hopefully with Bournemouth being at home & needing points they will push forward a bit so we can hopefully exploit the space that creates. I still have the memory of last season. We need to win this, otherwise inconsistency is the order of the day.
This should not be as tricky as a home match. We now paradoxically find it more difficult to win at home. I think that teams come to Anfield with a game plan to defend with 11 players behind the ball. Why not? LFC have the reputation of having one of the most potent strike forces in the league and it would be suicide to try to match them. Away they have to at least attack some of the time providing us with chances. 0-3 to LFC.
anyway... looking at the next couple of fixtures we really need a win v bournemouth as the Arsenal game coming up is a top 6 rival and we've been struggling v the top 6. If we draw 4 in a row it'd be disastrous but if we win v bournemouth and draw v arsenal i'd probably be happy. This is nothing to do with bournemouth but i might as well post it. our results v top 6. Arsenal 4-0 H Utd 0-0 H City 0-5 A Spurs 1-4 A Cheslea 1-1 H So we took 15? pointles last year from these fixtures over the season. So far we have 5. Arsenal away Utd away City at home Spurs at home Cheslea away. If we get 5 points out of those 5 games i would be happy. and for 4th we are cometing with arsenal and spuirs so must not lose those games!
