How big a group will you be in (rough age as well), and will you be wearing colours?

I don't know anywhere, but I'd suggest that as away fans you're going to have more joy finding somewhere decent if you're a small older group that's dressed discretely looking for food and a few drinks with your mates than you are if you're all 18/19 and there's a group of 15 of you off a minibus looking for somewhere to be loud whilst wearing colours or looking like an extra from a Danny Dyer film. (I also get that the two groups have different ideas of what decent is as well)

do not go to The Courthouse opposite the bus station, it's an absolute dive!

most of the pubs I know of in 'tarn' are horrible and will be filled with scrotey Barnsley fans.

sorry I can't be of more help.
