I reckon adverts are more influential than we might at first think. I guarantee you would be able to remember more adverts from your youth than kids names who were in class with you at the same time. Golden Wonder, they're Jungle Fresh.....PEANUUUUUUUUTS!!!!! How do you like your eggs Malcolm? Boiled or fried? Watch out watch out there's a Humphrey about Everyone's a Fruit and Nutcase I'm a secret lemonade drinker Any others you remember? Do they always work? Have you ever bought something because of an advert? Why do companies like Audi, BMW, Jaguar and the like spend so much on adverts when so few of us can afford to buy them? If you had £50k to spend on a car would you base your choice on the advert? I have been suckered in by some adverts usually when in tandem with promotions at the supermarket. If something has had heavy air time and it is on a shelf right in front of me I might give it a go. Food and such like I hasten to add, I don't think "ooh look 25% off Tampax" and fill the trolley. I usually get duped into buying the latest limited edition Kit-Kat or new brand of crisps (I love crisps, please see previous posts!).
They peel them with their metal knives Boil them for 20 minutes Then they smash them all to bits I loved those metal aliens
Personally I don't think adverts work subliminally. I mean do you think that any time the Fudge advert came on that Jimmy Savile...............................................
