Hi guys, this is just to give you advanced warning that tickets for the Reading game (November 10th) at the Madejski might be difficult to get nearer the event - here's news from your official site: http://www.canaries.co.uk//news/article/reading-away-12-13-403329.aspx?pageView=full#anchored The Madejski stadium 'only' holds 24,160 and what with the dawn of premier league football it's at its capacity nearly every game lately. I'll be delighted to be in touch in the week of the match (if not sooner), and you certainly won't get from us any of the wum-ing that I've occasionally seen of recent days on here - the Royals see it marvellous to be in the premier at all after an unexpected promotion, rubbing shoulders with our more illustrious colleagues ... cheers!
cheers we should fill our away allocation for this, hope to get a ticket. what is it now daib0, half of the south stand for away fans, or does it change?? is ian harte still playing!!?
I'll hopefully be going to this one. Didn't get to an away game at all last year (my last one is still Pompey - hard to emulate), and am yet to visit the Madejski, so am looking forward to it. I also like Reading after I succesfully backed them to win the title last year (and I won't let anyone forget it!).
Yep, there will definitely be Reading fans in the south Bank - here's our advanced ticket news as well - http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/norwich-ticket-news-387899.aspx and hereâs the basic Stadium plan: please log in to view this image Don't know whether it's the done thing, but this is a comprehensive Guide for anyone visiting (if you're not supposed to put other fan links up, then someone edit it out, no probs - but actually it's often asked of us!): Royals Rendezvous Guide for Away fans â Travel and Drinks/Food: http://royalsrendezvous.co.uk/topic/9220871/1 Ian Harte has been out last couple of games, as Nicky Shorey has come in and done a fairly sound job, including a great free kick goal against QPR in the League Cup. So I'd doubt that Harte would start, not that many of you would complain after that dreadful incident a couple of years back when poor old Holt was sent off (I'm a Reading fan, but fair's fair, I was ashamed at that play-acting by our guy, even though he's done quite a few good things as well before and since) ... Plenty of time yet, but I'm quite looking forward to it ...
Just a co-incidence, just seen this tweet: @ReadingFC__News Reading left-back Ian Harte will apparently play for Carlisle in a testimonial this weekend. #readingfc
