Good player, but don't need him. Maybe the sort of player we could consider next season (if we stay up) and Sig & Macca head back to their parent clubs.
Can't see it either, but you never know. Competition for midfield places is very high already and I'm not convinced we need him this season.
Wiki has him down as a central midfielder: "Silva is described by former Sporting manager Paulo Bento as a "complete midfielder" who "wets his jersey in every game he plays".
