About two weeks ago in a interview,he said he would love to get him here if it was feasible. Hence Adomah of the pay and Sharp could be afforded.
I have also read somewhere Sean saying he would love to have Sharp playing for him but still to read or hear anything from Sharp himself which is more to the point. We need a striker sooner rather than later especially if Sicknote Baldock is going to live up to his name 1 match played and injured again.
Anyone got a link for this? It's the sort of thing that would make big news and everyone would of been talking about it. I've not seen it anywhere?

One bit of bad news Billy Sharp says he wants to move to another Premiership club and also Celtic are interested in him now they sold Hooper to Norwich so I rather think that dream is over for another season at least.
Sky Sports understands Middlesbrough have agreed a deal with Bristol City for Albert Adomah and the winger is due to undergo a medical on Tuesday. Adomah is keen to leave Ashton Gate following City's relegation to League One and he saw a transfer request refused earlier this summer. Wigan Athletic have had two bids turned down and City boss Sean O'Driscoll stated last month that he was keen for a swift resolution to the situation. It now appears that Adomah is close to finalising a move and he could become Middlesbrough's fourth signing of the summer.
Disappointing and a shame if true, but I'm also not overly surprised. He is out of our league and probably exceeds our wage structure too.

There was never any truth or chance of us signing sharp. Just people banging on about it constantly. I would like us to sign Robin van Persie. SOD said he would a couple of weeks ago if it was feasible...... There we go, that has as much truth in it as the sharp rumour..........
Let see what happens,if anybody was able to get him here it will be SOD,If not i am sure there are others he has in mind.
