That offer has been rejected. The club plans to make no further comment. http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130124-adomahbidrejected-616850.aspx
Wake up anyone that matters because it's time we cashed in on Albert and spent the money on improving our team for the future. One player, who's sunning himself right now, will not our season save and obviously any cash generated will not be used during this transfer window unfortunately.
Unfortunately with our current plight, it would not surprise me if he hands in a transfer request. He'll have to be quick though with the window shutting soon. The good news is that he's under contract for another year and so if anyone wants him in this window, the price will be decent. What we do want to avoid is entering next season without a contract extension as we all know where this leads......
He's worth more to us now at 2 million than he is at 300k when we are a L1 outfit and he only has 12 months left on his contract!
Without him I dont think we will have a cat-in-hell's chance of staying up How much is it worth to stay in the Championship ? Even with him, and firing on all cylinders it will be touch and go, but at least that gives us a small chance
With £4M SOD could probably buy three or four decent players to keep us in the Championship, so £4M is probably the minimum we should accept for him.
Don't know where people are getting stuff like this from. 4 million pound and out of that I bet the board give SoD 2 million at best. Then we would have about 2-3 days to buy 1. Replacement for Adomah 2. A decent CB if we sell adomah now it will cost us and we will be relegated. Theres nobody in that team like albert as we have seen in the last 3 game. Keep hold of him until the summer I say as by the time we get the money for albert in this window we wont have time to buy a replacement and a CB

The statement was so short, it was obvious we dont want to declare our hand at this stage. The offer was probably 500,000, or something riduculous, so if the Board had declared what it was and from whom, it would have opened a bidding war at ridiculous prices. If it was an offer anywhere near the figures you all imagine, or that the board consider reasonable, then we would have said so, to draw out the other bidders and get an auction going on. Its all a game, played out in front of millions.
Well on the Palace forum they said a few days ago that they we're going to offer 300k plus 2 players believed to be Gabbidon and david Wright. We would be ****ing stupid to accept a bid like this
Great sentiment that Albert can save our season, but remember that he won't be back for several weeks. We need him now but that won't happen and by the time he get's back it could be too late. We need players now and if Albert gets sold then so be it.
if the price is right,(3.5 mill plus) then logic dictates he has to go. but never ever. to one of our champ rivals.
If it is Palarse do a deal like they are getting, sell him for 3.5+ and then loan him back till the summer. As he will be up against Bolasie and Zaha for a place this season. And Bolasie is flying at the moment.
are palace really a rival now? I mean if they we're in a relegation scrap with us or we we're pushing for promotion with them then I can see the reason to not sell, They won't affect our season only help as there a top team and have to play the strugglers including us. If the price tag is met, which better be 3mill, then sell him regardless of who it is.
it doesnt look like Albert wants to leave particularly... Albert Adomah: Bristol City winger cool on transfer talk[/B] Bristol City's Albert Adomah says his future is in the club's hands after they turned down a written offer for the winger. The bid, from an unnamed club, was confirmed by the Robins while the 25-year-old was playing for Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations. Speaking after their 1-0 win over Mali, Adomah told BBC Sport: "It's not down to me whether they let me go. "At the moment I'm happy at Bristol City. It's in the club's hands." He added: "I haven't heard of any request. I think they're letting me concentrate on the cup.
