Seen this article on bbc football website, apologies if link doesnt work but not that I.T minded. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24534058 I went with 3 friends on the supporters club coach, journey only took 26 hours, hotel slap bang in the middle of the red light district. Had some great fun though. Very good memories and remember Jason Perry coming over to the fans with a tear in his eye at the end of our 2 - 0 loss. The whole story of the trip is very funny and one that i will never forget. Did anyone else go ?
And we think we've got troubles. Hope you had no lasting effects from the trip Isaw - no nasty little itches that wouldn't go away?
My City european memories are few and pretty sad. Missed the Real Madrid home game as I was ill, and wasn't allowed out with school the next day. Saw them play Dynamo Berlin and they lost on penalties when Don Murray hit it over the Grange End. Saw them play Servette in 1976 and left to catch the last bus home only to miss Tony Evans' winner in 90th minute.
