Pompey fans, If it is any consolation, you probably won't be the only team to be docked points this season as a result of administration. It's a decent bet that Watford will be joining you before May. Who knows, with Donny and Cov both ****e - and maybe another team to go into admin - one of us could even stay up. COYH / PUP
Given that we have the option of panic-selling the last of the value in the squad in January, it's a safe bet that we will stay afloat until the end of March whether the predictions of a financial catastrophe are true or not. If we went into administration later than that, the points deduction would be applied next season.
Nope. The points deduction only carries forward in the event a team is already relegated (which of course is perfectly possible in our case)
Fair enough but I wouldn't bet against us going tits up before then. I doubt our saleable assets - MS & AM - will be enough to prevent it.
Is it really that bleak? I thought we were about to continue the improvements to the corner of the stadium?
who knows MadMoose. The problem is, questions don't seem to be answered and too many people are saying it's possible...for it not to be possible.
lets hope not although nothing would surprise me , actually tell a lie what would surprise me would be SEJ becoming club owner again ........(please if there is a god any god will do)
I can but hope H it worked before !! and Elton would tell us what is going on and wouldnt shirk a fans forum and a radio phone in both at last minute!
Um ......Hello? Is this how it works these days - one poster makes a comment that we are going into admin, it is not challenged, and 10 posts later it is an accepted fact? Yellowyell, I assume you are privy to information that the rest of us are not?
Well people have suggested such a fear before but I think that is more because they feel Bas doesn't have the money to fund the club hence keeping quiet. Hopefully that won't happen but I suspect we will need to sell.
We've got Coventry at home this weekend- a must win game- I'm going for 3-0 Pompey !! _ On as die note- Sean Dyche is doing well for you- went to our game a few weeks ago and you fully deserved it- well done !!
Question I would like answered is who is funding Baz? It's hardly a secret that he does not have a pot to piss in and I cannot see any bank touching him or a struggling football club, so where are the funds coming from? Pay Day Loan?
He knew you would want an answer w_y and thinking about it made him ill. Seems that he was feeling well enough to go out on a cold evening to watch football.
I think he is more worried about my far more probing and far reaching question OFH - "When are you going to get some decent Cider in The Hornets Nest?"...
Well at least he knows where you stand in the bar and can avoid you if he keeps up with your directions.
