I thought the subtle tactical change go our formation today was brilliant tactics by NA. He knew Leeds danger would come from the midfield with the two main strikers injured.

Normally we play with the wide boys hugging the touchline when waiting for the ball, but today both Guly and Lallana played a lot narrower. This helped Deano and Corkie boss the middle giving no space to their playmakers. I hardly ever saw Lallana on the touchline. He was starting inside a little more and drifting inside before he had the ball.

This really gave us the platform for the great performance.

I'd imagine in other fixtures the wide midfielders would be pushed back onto the touchline.
 
Interesting to see Lallana was roaming a lot more today, obviously started on the left, but came from the right for his goal and his good chance, I don't think we should even give him a position any more!
