Has anyone read this interesting article about an interview with Nige? The point about managers in the Welsh league is an interesting one. Do you agree? Who could fall into this category? http://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport-ne...l-talent-in-the-welsh-premier-55578-29716363/ There was also this one from last week that was interesting and I didn't see posted on here. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-rest-until-Saints-march-back-to-the-top.html I know there are loads of these around, but they're always pleasing to read.
Like the Telegraph interview, especially like the fact that if we win 26 games in a row we will beat the all time record of 25 (held by Bradford Park Avenue of the old 3rd Division North in 1927 fact fans )
Telegraph link wont load for me! I had read the Daily Post article, someone had it at work yesterday! Interesting read and it talks about other managers in the Welsh prem, there is only 12 of them though! Here's hoping our Nigel will soon be successful in THE Premier league, still with Saints of course.
The Telegraph generally prints more positive and detailed reports about Saints than other papers. Having said that, other papers have now dropped their anti-Saints stuff..presumably it was just band-wagon stuff which is now out of date.
Love it! My favourite interview with Nigel was on the BBC site as a clip at the training ground.... Question: What's the most famous name on your phone? Nigel: Nokia! Plus at the end mentioning that what he most wants to do this afternoon is to go home and make love to his wife!!!!! The man is genius!
"Adkins has a driving ambition to become the first man to manage in the Welsh Premier and English Premier Leagues." ------------ You have to be ambitious.
Not sure how I came across it, I don't think I was especially looking for articles about Saints, but spotted it when reading about or searching for something else, and it turned out to be an interesting read.
If one is looking for articles about Saints, Daily post isn't where to look!! Liverpool & Everton, yes, & of course dear old Wrexham. Apart from that its all about the Welsh leagues & some prat nicking a sandwich in Rhyl!
