Just seen this interview from Yesterday on the BBC site. It's only 1.5mins so it's a short one. Apologies if it's been posted before but I couldn't find it. He's like a kid in a sweet shop and it fills me with pride watching it! 12 points from the first 4 games, well done Nige!! COYR! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18509310
Longer version on Player. His enthusiasm is infectious, but does the man never blink...such wild staring eyes. If he wasn't a successful football manager, you'd edge away from him in a bus queue.
He ALWAYS has a good tan. I suppose it comes from being a hands-on manager and doing a lot of outdoor work. Even under light clouds, you can regularly top up a tan. Blimey, you should see mine from sailing at the weekend. Brown as... Had to keep my visor shut a lot of time too, such was the glare off the Channel.
He is that. No 100% sane person has that amount of genuine enthusiasm. I'm backing him, bonkers or not.
I love the bloke and he is shrewd and very clever but never the less appears to be one grape short of a fruit cocktail
He is a naturally positive person, but some of the slightly deranged stuff may be a way of deflecting interviewers. It would be very hard to lure him into public criticism of his players.
good point, methinks there is method to his madness. after stating starting off with 12pts from 4 games, he went on to say there's a good run of games at the end of the season where we can pick up "some good points."
