never impressed i'm afraid. A huge defensive liability. We have and had much better them him. Personal issues you don't wish on anyone but a flop on all accounts.
I remember Liverpool fans outraged that they signed Konchesky whereas we signed Salcido, whom they believed to be the far better player. He started out decent enough but after the burglary of his home his form dipped in a big way, can't blame the guy.
Agree with all that's been said about Carlos, although he could deliver a decent cross. I was in the Putney end for the Wigan game last season when he plonked one right on Dempsey's head for one of the goals. I think Riise's really settling in now after a slow start. He's been excellent in the last couple of home games, and he's going to burst a hole in the net one of these days.
