Just wondering why you guys pulled out of the deal for him considering he's now being linked to arsenal by several, albeit unreliable sources (the metro and the mirror the major ones though). Correct me if i'm wrong but your club deemed him to have made insufficient progress during the year subsequent to you managing a pre-contract to bring him to your club?
I can't say I've seen much of him but reports say he's struggled to break into Fiorantinas first team. If Arsenal do sign him then all the best to him, but there's not been much hype about him since we pulled out of signing him. The official reason for not signing him was work permit issues, but there was probably more to it than that as we just looked at the permit situation and never got as far as applying and appealing.
United were meant to sign Ljajic but the club pulled out of the deal claiming it was due to work permit issues but must be more to it than that.
Hes definitely struggled to break into the first team butbhas been starting for the past three months. At any rate itll be interesting if he joins thanks for the info though like you said theres got to be much more to it than meets the eye.
