Is he done? Leaving us at the transfer window? Doesn't MH want him any more?
Surely he can't be any worse than Park, and what a work-rate Park has.
Surely Adel can't be any worse than SWP?

    I miss Adel.

Totally agree. This was not the match for him.

Not sure about Mackie over Cisse or Hoilett today.Works hard but chases shadows when hes played near the front. Why is Hoilett not picked over SWP??

By his own admission Hoillett hasn't been playing well. This was not the match to try and play him into form!

Are people seriously questioning the starting 11 etc after we've put in our best performance thus far?

Come on lads, we're on the road to becoming a very decent outfit. Sparky just needs a bit of time to string it all together that's all.

I agree with you......it was a very good performance, with Faurlin and Granero exceptional in the middle. I do think that we should play our flair players against some of the teams we hope to beat at home though. We needed to compete against a very good Chelsea midfield and we did that, without really creating too much going forward. As a season ticket holder, I'd like to see some of our flair players playing at home for my money. NOT JUST ADEL, but Cisse and Hoilett too. We will need these players against the "lesser" sides to ensure we get the 3 points needed in such games imo.

How is Adel finished? Yea he may have not been right for this game, but he is a quality playmaker and just signed for 4 years.....he'll have his share.

I can understand why Hughes is using him more sparingly but if this was his intention why the new lucrative contract and coveted No.10?

I wouldn't have started with Adel, and too much is being read into him not coming on, which he would have done had we not been forced by injury into two unplanned first half substitutions. It's ridiculous to say that he's finished at QPR.

Exactly, the injuries changed the way we might have played our subs later on. Thing is though with Taraabt is if you can only play him against the lesser teams, how can he fulfill his potential? What do you need in you team to be able to play him?
