Adel Taarabt admitted an underperforming Fulham side didn’t deserve to win against Sunderland on Saturday.

    http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/january/13/adel-we-didnt-perform

“I tried to make things happen but Lee Cattermole was behind me all the time and he tried to frustrate me. I stayed calm but the play was compact and there wasn’t much space for me and Dimitar Berbatov – it was difficult. Credit to Sunderland, but we’re all very disappointed.”

Taarabt, though, insists Fulham ‘have nothing to lose’ at the Emirates, and believes the Whites can come away with a result.

I reckon he kept the same ghost writer too.

History repeating itself for young Adel.... no doubt PSV are circling overhead with a £12m bid primed....

    Your one sad **** SKU.

Get a life and have a bit of respect for a player who’s done a hell of a lot for this club. Posting stuff like this is idiotic boring and been done to death

I am with Flyer on this. I would happily see him don the Hoops again.

No offence taken gents. I think you have misunderstood.

There's no hate at all. I'm a big Taarabt fan and would have him back in a flash, so long he is obedient and respects his coaches and teammates.

My thread was nothing more than an ironic shrug of the shoulders from me (Taarabt-esque if you will); reflecting that he finds himself again in another struggling EPL team.

It's a bit of a paradox isn't it really. We obviously would benefit financially from AT playing well but I think we would struggle to want him to play well for THEM!

I want the ruperts to go down. I know why Taarabt left and understand but hes not our player this season so I dont care what he does with them.

My ideal scenario would be Redknapp retiring and Taarabt coming back in the summer with us in the PL but I think hes sold if either we dont go up or we go up and Redknapp stays. Both are more likely than what I want.

Yes, I suspect if we go up HR will stay. I suppose there is a chance he might retire but unlikely I would have thought. Does anyone know how long Harrys contract is for?

I thought it was 3.5 years but could be wrong so 2 more years left this summer.

Hes said he will go if we dont go up but not what will happen if we get promoted. It will be hard to walk away from all that money but theres a huge job rebuilding the squad, far more work than the last time we went up.

I was at this game, a thoroughly enjoyable day out!

Bar one shot, Adel was fat and rubbish. I'll always love him for what he did for us though.

Far more work than last time? I disagree. Last time we needed to completely overhaul the squad, and thanks (mostly to the Goons) this wasn't done in the summer when it should have been, and every transfer window since then we were struggling to paper over the cracks.

This time we'll again need to completely overhaul the squad again, but hopefully we'll have the stability in the ownership that we lacked last time around.

Not sure about that but work to be done for sure. Different owners though.

14 players out of contract and very few of them good enough and young enough to be bought back.
Question marks over dunne, hill, BAE, henry, Carroll, benayoun, O'Neill, kranjcar and thats just those who played the last game.
how many of those would you want in the pl excluding the loans?

    Really? The one against Sunderland?
Whilst watching the highlights, me and the lad both thought he looked fit and played well, considering Cattermole was trying to kill him all game. Also thought he looked decent the week before too.

I also agree with some that this thread was a veiled dig at Taarabt and that's really, really old hat!
