No, he's a great player, and I think our team should have great players playing for it.

No. He's good and, already, he can be out of this world at times. He's young and has huge potential. Surely, he can't be so thick that he won't realise that the Premier League is very tough and he needs to get fit and change his attitude if he is to achieve everything of which he is capable. He could be another Marsh or Bowles and we need to give him every opportunity to deserve inclusion in the same sentence as those iconic players.

No way, it's way to early to judge him yet. Bagloads of potential, he's getting a tougher stance from Warnock this season now that we're not as reliant on him, if theres no improvement come summer we might have to act.

Alternative D is a great idea though, it worked for Carroll/Nolan, we might even get £35 mill from Liverpool <laugh>

Adel Taarabt gets too much stick and im sick of it, brilliant player, if young hadnt run in to him on sunday he would of scored, set up swp to get pulled down his play led to drogba getting a red, did a good ball to young who should have scored, should we let him go??? no!!

This season he's had some poor games but he's also had some good games. He hasn't quite shown us last season's form but he's got it in him and I would still be starting him in every game.

There isn't one club in the world who can turn him into a loyal player. He just isn't that way. So you either have him in your team and hopefully enjoy his football often or you don't bother. I'd rather keep him and look out for his moments of greatness as they're sure to come.

I voted to let him go in Jan.

I have up to this point always said no we need him - he is our best player and we wouldn't be where we are without him but after the weekend i think i have had enough.

On his day he is our best player, he can do things no one else on the pitch can do, we would be a worse squad without him and we would not be able to replace his creativeness and flair but all this comes at a price and i think a bitter and twisted end is inevitable.

My issue at the weekend was his response over the penalty, i don't mind him getting the hump becasue he wanted to take it - fair enough i expect that from him, i was just sad to see when we scored that he had no positive reaction to QPR going 1 nil up against Chelsea, he didn't care, he didn't celebrate he seemed to get no enjoyment from this at all and continued to moan about not taking it. This 'I don't care about the team, the score or QPR, I only care about Adel' attitude is wearing pretty thin and will start to piss of many players in the dressing room and i dont think he is worth it any more.

Having said that I doubt he will go in January based on his performances and behaviour so far this season as i doubt any big club anywhere will be all that interested.

I appreciate i'm not going to get much agreement judging by the comments above - fair enough maybe i'm just having a bad adel day.

Lets hope he scores a hatrick at spurs, kisses the badge and gives Neil a big hug just to make my comments above look like ****e, that's not my prediction though Roller!

When i looked back i saw him wagging his finger and appeared to be continuing to moan about not taking the pen...

See where your coming from Cannock, but i still want him to stay,i honestly think that some magic Adel moments aren't too far away.I also see that at least 5 others agree with you,but haven't given a reason or left their moniker, interesting!!

'There isn't one club in the world who can turn him into a loyal player' Very wise and spot on,awjm.
As a 46 year-old who is still embarrassingly prone to throwing my toys out the pram, extended hissy fits, amateur dramatic strops, tantrums and sulks,I think it probable that Adel's never gonna change or miraculously find maturity. He'll be the same- with an emotional mental age of 11,as Eamon points out - where-ever he is.
Everything seems sunny with him, Eric Gerets the coach and Morocco now after his lovely free kick to clinch African Nations Cup qualification but I'll give you short odds that he resigns again from the National team in the next 5 years.
He's bleeding exasperating,no doubt I have to admit, but I think his tactical acumen and team-play has matured in his time at LR & with his nutmegs, tricks, surprises & uncanny sense of balance..he has abilities a more prosaic grafter such as Joe Barton can only dream of
As peter1954qpr puts it far more eloquently & succinctly than me: 'Players gifted like him are few and far between. Better with him than without.'

Another plus with Adel that I don't see mentioned much is that he seems to stay injury free. Whether he still is after Drogba's tackle remains to be seen, but he's missed more time catching his bus than on the treatment table.

If Adel wants to leave and we get what the club see as the right amount of money for him then we should let him go.
Whether I want him to go is different,I'd like to see NW put an arm round him so to speak, and just try to encourage him a bit more.
No more saying in interviews he's a pain in the a**e,or throws his toys out of the pram.
Adel just wants to play, and be a star, and when he's on his game he can do that

He invites comments like "Did you see when Taarabt did such and such" or "worth the ticket price alone"

He also invites a few negative ones too but the chance to have a player capable of such moments at our little club is irresistible.

Keep him as long as possible please.
