Why doesn't Harry just stick him out there and let him play. Has he gone that fat? Has he really lost it that much? I'd like to see him get a run out. Why not use him while we have him?
It's a real shame that we cannot harness his talent more positively. A wasted squad place in the 25 that I suspect will not be renewed. Yesterday's game was crying out for a creative outlet, played into feet, as a contrast to high balls up to OBZ.
I would tell him now that he is not one of the 25after the window shuts. Find another club or face a horrible six months of being fined for anything and everything.
Which if any player deserves a run out in the main squad, if you aren't prepared to turn up for a practice match. Particularly at this stage of the season, after injuries, you need match time, and the only way to get that is in U21/practice matches.
It is clear that Taarabt is finished here and a lot of it is his own fault. But **** me, we were desperate for his talents yesterday!!
I genuinely would have put him in against Arsenal. I thought he would have got some time. He could have wowed us with his skill set and put himself in the shop window. No-one expected anything from that game so it might have got us some cash for him IMHO
