Milan taking the piss now. Below 4 million euros?... http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/05...se-and-want-price-reduction-from-qpr/143187/?
It doesn't matter though Sooper, because some on here think there is a queue of clubs waiting to pay £15m for him. Redknapp and some of the squad don't want him back. He's only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay. If there is no competition for him and we won't sell we will just have to pay his wages while he does **** all or try and loan him out again. I'm sick of it, we had our money's worth from him, let's get rid and get on with the important stuff.
Anyone read what Warnock wrote about him in his book ? Seems for all his talent, his character makes him almost unemployable. Such a shame as he was an amazing player to watch when he made an effort. Pity he seems so arrogant and immature. Best take what we can get.
No surprise though is it mate? A blind man could see that. After rave reviews from Milan at the beginning, it doesn't seem to have been going so well for him since. I hope he has been playing well though because we might get a fee for him.
I'm not sure that this is correct. I can't claim any insider insight but a quick check on the internet has revealed these two reports. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...rabt-earned-a-permanent-move-to-the-rossoneri AC Milan: Has Adel Taarabt Earned a Permanent Move to the Rossoneri? For the first time since late 2011, AC Milan have won five straight Serie A fixtures. A comprehensive 3-0 victory over Livorno courtesy of goals from Mario Balotelli, Adel Taarabt and Giampaolo Pazzini continued this fine run over the past weekend. While speculation of discord between manager Clarence Seedorf and upper management has been floating about, the team has proved their unity with some excellent performances on the pitch. Under Seedorf, things are finally beginning to show signs of progress at the San Siro. As the players have had ample time to adapt to Seedorf's attacking formation, progress would seem natural given the talent in the ranks, but the miserable start to the season dampened the mood of the club considerably entering the second half of the season. New arrivals Adil Rami, Keisuke Honda and Taarabt have played large roles in the turnaround in form recently, with Rami and Taarabt especially impactful in their performances. Taarabt in particular is an intriguing case, given his well-documented history of misbehavior prior to arriving in Milan on loan this January. It seemed yet another example of general manager Adriano Galliani pursuing cheap deals in the hopes of finding a bargain for the once financially mighty Rossoneri. Yet, Taarabt has performed admirably, combining well with Balotelli, Honda and Kaka in the attacking ranks of the squad. Beyond the good form, he has displayed model behavior and seems to be clicking with his new teammates. As such, a once-unimaginable scenario has arisen: Milan have a serious decision to make regarding making Taarabt's loan deal from QPR permanent. A reported fee of €7 Million has been mooted, via Jack Davies of Goal.com, which would not be terrible value—if Taarabt can keep his performances steady. The question with Taarabt remains the same even after his impressive first months in Milan. His talent is undoubted, his attitude and commitment is still not proved to be a thing of the past. It is one thing to be at your best when pursuing a new deal or a permanent move from a second-division English side to one of the most famous sporting clubs in the world, and another thing altogether to prove you belong once you have earned that move. It may be in Milan's best interest to begin to experiment with both Taarabt and Stephan El Shaarawy on opposite flanks in Seedorf's 4-2-3-1 formation. El Shaarawy played his first minutes in months over the weekend and seems set to finally make his return to the senior squad. With El Shaarawy on the left wing, Taarabt on the right and one of Kaka or Honda in the middle behind Balotelli, Milan will finally have their best attacking players together for the final weeks of the season. Given Taarabt's stellar form and his surprising levels of defensive commitment, it is looking increasingly likely that Milan will pay the fee and bring him to the club on a permanent basis. Before that decision is made, Seedorf will surely continue to play him over the stretch run as Milan look to book a place in the Europa League and, hopefully give him game time with El Shaarawy. Should Taarabt continue to impress, the decision will be an easy one. As the final weeks of the season approach, Seedorf will be looking to determine which players he deems necessary for Milan to compete for one of the top three spots in Serie A once again. With each passing match, Taarabt is making the case to keep him around easier and easier. and even more intriguingly (although I doubt it will come to anything) .... http://www.caughtoffside.com/2014/0...-taarabt-following-impressive-ac-milan-spell/ Liverpool to Make Summer Bid for Adel Taarabt Following Impressive AC Milan Spell Following an unsuccessful attempt to re-ignite his career during a loan spell at Fulham it appears that QPR playmaker Adel Taarabt has begun to show what he is capable of whilst at AC Milan, drawing the interest of Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers according to Football Direct News. The 24 year old has netted four times in ten Serie A starts and put in strong displays for Clarence Seedorf’s side and now Anfield boss Rodgers is now monitoring Taarabt’s progress at the San Siro with a view to making a potential summer bid for the former Tottenham man. AC Milan may also look to sign the Moroccan with Seedorf’s side collecting six wins in the ten Serie A matches he’s started in. Rodgers may feel he could do with further flair players in his armoury, especially with a Champions League push to prepare for, and Taarabt may have done enough to prove he is more than just a show-pony. Taarabt is well known for his raw skill and talent to make things happen but is prone to vanishing during games and not giving enough in a defensive sense leading many to brand the QPR man as something of a ‘luxury’ player. Liverpool’s interest, and indeed AC Milan’s, will depend greatly on just how much the Loftus Road side look to make from his sale. There is even a report that Inter Milan are interest in signing him. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2014/05/21/ac-milan-and-inter-both-aim-for-adel-taarabt-signing/141621/ As ever, who knows what to believe, but it does indicate that things have not dropped off for him in Italy.
So you'd say a counter-bid from Liverpool or Inter may see a more reasonable figure Roller? I'd say £7-8m was more realistic...
I'd be amazed to see a bid from Liverpool, but who can tell? We've all seen both ends of the spectrum, in Italy they probably haven't, so Inter maybe. To the best of my knowledge Adel has performed well in Milan, so maybe Inter will push the price up.
Interesting that Roller. I just figured that because the commotion about his performances on here died down after the first few games that his standard had dropped. Hopefully they'll make us a half-decent offer.
The Milan message boards have been pretty positive about him. He'll go but not for the daft sums some people think he's worth. £5-6m tops. Trying to work out what happened with Seedorf, who's been sacked. Looked like he was having the desired effect for results, but must have got on the wrong side of Galliani somehow. Shame, I think he will be a very good manager.
Oh god, more about this f**k head/...Just sell him and lets move on Stan, youd be another thats [leasedabout our new away strip? If its good enough for one of the planets best teams..Then we can make do? I personally love our new red and black stripes...yourself?
Well, that shirt is iconic for me. To be honest Queens I'm not one that gets that exercised about width of hoops etc, I've seen better strips than those we will be wearing next year, especially the home shirt, but getting the £45m deal with Nike makes it well worthwhile. The only thing about the Milan kit is that our cheap, clashing, iron on badge looks totally stupid on it.
