My boss tells me there was a column in a national newspaper today (can't remember which one he said) that stated we were looking to sell Adebola ASAP as he can't settle here and hates it. I dismissed this as paper talk straight away but figured I'd post it. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Seems ridiculous to bring a player in and then sell on in the same window... is it even legal?
I doubt, though i'm guessing some on here would hope it's true. Depends on the source of the article as to whether it can have any credibility as a story. There was the Livermore situation a few years ago which happened in the same window so don't think there's anything illegal about it.
I'll gladly drive over from Alicante and drop him wherever he wants to go, Bournmouth is nice this time of year, I heard the Isle of wight was cut off.
It's not like we're situated in Libya or Syria. I'm sure no one's asking him to live anywhere he doesn't have to, just within travelling distance of the training ground. For these reasons, and the fact that Adebola is a fully functioning adult, I doubt that this is true.
That bloke was gash, and he also looked like the lovechild of Stephen Merchant and Dave England from "Jackass". please log in to view this image + please log in to view this image = please log in to view this image
