Adebayor spent last season on loan at Tottenham but his astronomical wage demands have prevented a permanent deal going through. With Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko ahead of Adebayor in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, Mancini is looking to offload Adebayor and reinvest in other areas of the squad. 'I am sorry for him because he is here and not playing,' Mancini said. 'But he has no chance of playing this season for us. 'Itâs important for him that he can find a good solution because he scored a lot of goals last season and heâs a top striker. 'I hope for him he can find a good solution very quickly.' Despite rumours linking Dzeko with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, Mancini insisted that he wants to keep his current strikers at the club. 'I still have confidence in the four strikers,' he added. 'They scored 70 goals between them last season. ****ing hell, he'd be some signing wouldn't he? Fantasy though ain't it, even if we did a deal with City, by the time he stopped laughing at us trying to get him, the season would be finished.
