£15 million from City. It's a possibility, especially if as expected Harry does one. Good player IMO, Thought?

    Nah

I'd only see Adebayor as a short term option and I cant see him and Suarez making a good pairing (and no, not because he's black. I just cant see it working so well).

I'd go for it. he's still at an ok age. could offer 3 years of decent service - this would dent Carroll's confidence massively though

If I remember correctly Adebayour has only managed more than 10 goals in a season 3 times in his whole career.

Not counting this season and I don't know how many he has at the moment.

A year or 2 ago I would have said yes.

But now I think we can do a lot better.

Also, do we really want another striker with a bad reputation or past troubles? We already have three. I know none of those effect the team, and two of them have moved on, but we should consider reputation here.

Dont like him but find it laughable that you scousers dont want him. He would instantly be first choice cf in your team. Him and suarez would be quality. I guess you prefer being Average FC with downing, hendo and carroll!

    1. no chance.

    2. all the bleating spuds and gooners can just go realise that the guy is on 200k per week and will easily go on loan again to protect that. he aint going to the spuds for 90k per week nor would he come here for it.

    3. arsenal fans need to rememebr his courting of ac milan, inter and anyone else he could whore himself to to being the great escape for wngers control...

    4. just where did he go in decemebr and january? hmmmm... i think that needs to be thought about too. (and no it was not the anc he wasn't in it)

Because he would be close to your best player. How are going to improve if you dont buy players who would be clear upgrades on your present cf (el donkey)

The only way he'd be close to our best player would be if he was warming up next to Lucas

Donkey's improving though. A long way to go yet but the promise is there, we don't know how he'll develop. Adebayor has already done his developing so you know what you're going to get.
If we bought him I'd back him like I do all of our players, but I too think he's hit and miss and would rather we went for someone with greater potential.

Very defensive aren't you all. Wow, I really try to side with liverpool in the liverpool vs manure arguements but I kind of see why they all get annoyed at you. You are the most blinkered fans in the premier league.
