If Adebayor hit the top of his nose, then why's Bendtner focusing on the base of it? There's also absolutely no evidence of a headbutt.
Mosquitos do more damage than that If you read Notso's quotes you'll realise that the denial was that there was any headbutt in the altercation. A scratch on the nose doesn't suggest a headbutt to me, if Ade had 'butted him hard enough to cut Bendtner then you'd see it clearly on the cameras and since Webb studied the video and saw no such thing. The reaction from Bendtner also doesn't look like he's just been hit, he's hardly Ghandi so you'd expect him to have more than a few words to say about it if he had. RVP was nothing to do with what he was saying either so probably stop bringing it up, eh?
The original point was that along with being a self absorbed petulant man, he also assaults other players. One of which was a team mate, the other a former team mate. Whether it was a headbutt, punch, swipe of the hand, stamp, scrape it doesn't matter. It was intentional and for that reason, he is a ****. You've already agreed with me that he is petulant and trouble, I don't know why you're now tying yourself up in knots trying to defend him ?
It's funny that a lot of these players seem to have these problems at Arsenal and then don't have them any more once they've left.

I started this thread which has turned a little frivolous because I considered the subject of Ade calling his coach a liar as warranting discussion and not because of violent tendencies. Ade has never been my favourite player and if what I read is true and there's trouble between the two then I hope Ade hops it and AVB stays and replaces him.
No thanks, it was extremely boring and wrong the first time. You said he was headbutted in the first instance, having been proved wrong, you then go off on a tangent trying to say he was still assaulted, when in truth, and it is there on vid for all to see, a load of handbags, a few arms and hands waving about. TMT - I side with those that considered this thread ill advised and likely to just be an opportunity for serial wummers. You may not be Ade's biggest fan, but propagating unsubstantiated rumours about our players - especially if likely to ferment discord in the camp - is never a great idea. As it turns out, although there may have been some disagreement, there has certainly not been a major fallout. He may go to Togo or he may not. Whatever, I am guessing that he will be our player for the rest of the season and that we are likely to need his efforts (purchase of Moutinho/Damiao/ANO notwithstanding) to achieve what we want this year.
