The last two words puddin sambo refer to an Irish breakfast of a black pudding sandwich, much the same as the Aussies call a sandwich a 'sanger'. Well thats how I've read it anyway.
I'll explain it to you again I said he barely played for Madrid, he played twenty two games, not exactly a glittering career, so that was hardly the 'building block' of my argument. The building block of my argument was that he is a petulant man, which was evidenced in the fact that he threw a strop at Arsenal claiming he wasn't 'loved' so he moved to City where he claimed he was 'loved' but ultimately by his own standards, not enough. So he was shipped out to Madrid, where he fell out of favour again. After headbutting a team mate, stamping on a former team mates head and loitering around on the pitch when he can't be bothered, he's now publicly criticising your manager . . .all congruent behaviour from the self inflated ego that is Adebayor. You're agreeing with my fundamental point that he's petulant, not how many games he played for Madrid. So why you're claiming I'm 'lying', 'making up stories' and 'grasping statements from thin air' is a bit nonsensical to be honest.
He left Arsenal and threw a strop because he wasn't 'loved', he left city because Mancini didn't love him, he didn't make it at Real and he headbutted his team mate and stamped on the head of his former team mate. Now he's shouting his mouth off again with you lot. To be honest, Adebayor does it all by himself. No spin needed
A lot of players leaving Arsenal could claim they weren't "loved" too, no other clubs let their players run down their contracts so much before leaving. They all come out with a different reason for leaving Arsenal but regardless of what they say to the media they all left because Arsenal weren't showing ambition and they could get better money and more trophies elsewhere. I don't think you can argue that leaving Arsenal is some kind of blot on a player's career. As Notso has already said Adebayor wasn't favoured by the new manager and got pushed to the side, again not a blot on his career. Jose obviously rated him too but as I said on the Modric thread on your board, there are many great players that didn't "make it" at Real. Headbutt? Please, you Arsenal fans were defending him at the time as it was all sensationalised. Yeah he stamped on RVP but who wouldn't want to do that? I do think Adebayor is probably difficult to manage and you can make out whatever you want about him but apart from the stamp on RVP there's no substance to what you're saying. You don't like Adebayor, you think he's trouble and there's a lot of Spurs fans that would agree with you on that but not many that would agree with your reasoning, it's weak no matter how many times you repeat yourself.
So other than him being a self obsessed ego maniac who assaults his team mates, what would be your reasoning for agreeing that he's trouble then ?
It's daft to take what any player says to the media at face value. You could claim Nasri was a liar because he said he moved for trophies not money, when we all know it's both. You could also claim Sturridge saying Liverpool are the biggest club in England makes him an idiot but you have to take what they say with a pinch of salt. Things like Judas saying he'd never move to Arsenal, however, are different and make themselves look like ****s.
I do think he's got a bit of an ego and I never said he didn't I think he's difficult to manage because of this and I don't think he's taken having to fight for his place too well either. They're my thoughts on him and I would happily admit I'm wrong if someone, who was better placed to judge him, corrected me. Carrying on talking about "assaulting" teammates when it's not true is just getting boring.
He headbutted Bendtner and cut his head and he stamped on RVP's head and cut him above the eye. What part of that is not an assault ?
What part of RVP being an opposition player made him a teammate? You already know what the truth is to the Bendtner one, he didn't headbutt him it was nothing more than a flare up that you get between players from time to time.
Players having disagreements and flare ups is one thing, players assaulting their team mates is something all together different. What about the stamp on RVP's head that left him with a cut too? How exactly did Bendter end up with a cut on his nose ?
Plural suggests more than one Cut on his nose? The TV cameras couldn't even pick up any clear sign of a headbutt yet we're supposed to believe it was so hard that it cut Bendtner open? As I've already said, Arsenal fans were sticking up for him at the time and I'm sure you were one of them who thought it was sensationalism so lets not be duplicitous now.
Former team mate means former team mate and no I wasn't sticking up for him at the time. I thought he was a **** at the time, so nothing has changed. So how else would you explain Bendtner getting a cut on his nose straight after an altercation with Adebayor if he hadn't assaulted him? You've already agreed with me that Adebayor is a petulant twat, I'm not sure why you're now trying to defend him to be honest.
Right I've had enough of reading this ****. Time to educate the Gooner on his own club... http://arsenalanalysis.blogspot.co.uk/2008/01/myths-about-adebayor-and-bendtner.html Now piss off wum
Presume you missed this then: please log in to view this image and maybe you missed this too: please log in to view this image Both taken immediately after Adebayor's 'interventions'. Perhaps you can explain how they both ended up with cuts ?
Adebayor left City because Mancini told him that he had no place in his plans. He didn't ask to leave. Mancini accused him of feigning an injury, because he's not Balotelli.
