I don't think we've got your favourite brand at the moment., In fact I havn't seen any of that for a couple of years now, Spurlock,.
I think Ade is taking a big gamble, myself. I strongly suspect that we are going to get in at least one striker this window, and if he hits the ground running, and starts to score us goals, and Ade has a dreadful African Cup, he'll be sitting on our bench for most of this season.
Ade was great for us in the 07/08 season, but ever since then he's been hit and miss. He wanted Beyonce and got Man City a club who he said 'loved him' just before he fell out with them and ****ed off to Madrid where he barely played. Personally, I think you should have kept him on loan and got £ity to carry on paying his wages, he is more trouble than he's worth. At least then you could have sent him back.
Agreed HIAG and this could actually be a blessing in disguise. If it lights a fire under the Leandro deal and focusses all the parties concerned minds on actually completing it in this window, then Ade could find this was one ACON adventure too many.
Sorry, but that's a boring reply. I should have conceded that he played 22 games in is glorious days at Real, but my point stands. He was a great player in 07/08 for us, but his need to satisfy his own ego overtook his commitment to the club and his team mates (one of which he later deliberately stood on his head) He claimed City 'loved him' because Arsenal fans didn't and then he wanted out of there too, so they shipped him off to Real. He's always been a petulant self absorbed man, I don't think Spurs fans should be surprised if he puts his own needs before your club's.
That is so anti-semitic and racist I don't know where to begin. And there I was just trying to tell a heart-warming story of a culinary staple re-discovered to help us all get over the fact that Spurs are IN TURMOIL. I'm not going to tell anyone what I had in my sandwich any more. No - you've ruined it for everyone.
Even if it's not Leandro, there will be someone else Does anyone know of any other Striker's we're genuinely after? There might be more truth in these Negredo reports than we think. perhaps he's on the backburner whilst we push for Damiao, but he'll be lined up in case a deal can't be struck? i know it's a little premature, but we need to remember that Defoe is 30 now, too. Llorente is going to Juventus by the sounds of things, so that rules him out pretty much. I'd love to see Lewandowski, but we're in a catch 22 at the moment not having CL football. The strikers we need are already in the CL, but that's the quality we're after!
Apologies if I bored you with my expectations of honesty . You're right, it's much more fun grasping statements from thin air to construct an easily dismerited argument...
You didn't bore me regarding expectations of honesty because that's what I gave you you bored me with dismissing the idea that, as demonstrated through his career, Adebayor has a self absorbed petulant streak. I'd like to see some evidence that it's an 'easily dismerited argument' though if you can offer any up ?
YV dismerited your argument instantaneously Explain to me how this is an honest statement from you? If you're going to use lies which are so easy to prove incorrect as building blocks of your argument, then yes it's going to be quite easy to dismerit. This is the fundamental point where I'm disagreeing with you, if you look at the rest of Adebayor's career than I agree you have a point, he is petulant.
Bought by Hughes and not fancied by Mancini from day one had nothing to do with it then. Your bitterness that all your decent players leave to win a trophy somewhere else is understandable.
