The main selection dilemma around tomorrows's game would seem to focus on our central defence, with both Bielik and Bauer ruled out through injury. Plymouth normally have a decent London-based contingent of travelling supporters, so the actual attendance could be swollen to around the 7,500 mark. A win will put us boycotters in great heart for what promises to be a good day out at Luton the Saturday after.
Looking forward to tomorrow, even though crowds are small , atmosphere has been good, must be tough boycotting, although there is always pornhub I suppose
It is very tough boycotting when you are a 40 year plus fan, but in the long run its for the best. Not sure what the atmosphere can be like in a stadium that is 75% empty?
aside from the first 10 minutes, it goes pretty flat. there isnt enough people to carry it much further than the north upper.
It would be nice to think that the 10,000 fans we've lost since last time we were in L1 were all boycotting. But....................
that's where i stand and for the numbers it a decent , its certainly a better atmosphere up there than previous seasons
Despite the results and the lowly position we hold in the league currently again the away following seems to hold up. Normally we take around the 1000 mark to games. Even though the football has been crap I think it holds up because of the "long ole poke" thing and they like the reputation of having to travel further than anyone else in a season. Bit like the badge of honour. We also have injuries so you are not alone in that. We have a defense that leaks like a sieve so you may not even have to bother with defenders at all. My dilemma is not the loss as such but the how many by. If you are one of the people who are boycotting at the minute you may be glad if you are also a fan of actual football being played.
Home banker this one (no disrespect intended greeny) 3-0 win ... in the past the team might have taken this fixture as a given and lost concentration, but I don't think Lee Bowyer will allow that to happen. If I'm wrong I'll assume the position but I'm feeling confident today. Up the Addicks!
I remember last season when we played Plymouth early doors (west of 'The Wall' where the Wildlings live) …. they had lost all their league game and we had 100% record …. we lost 2-0... nothing is certain in football or Brexit
Yeah, I was there for that. The form book says this is a banker for us. I don't even want to predict this but I expect it to be tighter than Lardi expects. Few teams go to their games without planning something to stop the opposition.
Very entertaining first half. We have mullered them going forwards, as well as the missed penalty we must have had 10 corners at least ? They look decent on the break, but are poor at the back. Decent atmosphere in the ground.
