Chris Powell seems adament his team stand a good chance of making round 4 of the FA Cup, according to this article. Big ask for Charlton but in their current form, why not? http://sportales.com/soccer/addicks-not-to-make-up-the-numbers-at-the-cottage/
Not much else he could say really. At least we've won 2 cup games which is more than we usually do. A good cup run already!
Enough already! Let's worry about Walsall. Well, I don't mean "worry", but let's concentrate on Walsall. That's what CP will be doing.
Right eddie - get the bread and butter on the table and the jam will follow... Eric Cantona, eat your heart out.
Nothing to do with Fulham or football, but when I click on a picture like this and it opens in the same window, I cannot get back to the thread using the back button. I have to close Internet Explorer altogether, re-enter not606. and start again. However. if first time round I right-click on "open in new window" it does that and keeps the not606 thread open in its window. The funny thing is, after I have right-clicked the first time, I don't have to right-click any more, I can click on the link and open the picture, than return to the thread using the back button. Is this normal behaviour? I don't remember experiencing this in my previous ten years of using MS Explorer. It is not peculiar to not606 as I now experience this on other boards. Have my MS Explorer settings changed? Fulham geeks are welcome to advise me too. I realise all the best brains are to be found west of Charing Cross. (Disclosure: I was born and raised in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, in a family of Chelsea supporters. I was too intelligent to support Chelsea and my parents threatened to cut me out of their will if I supported Fulham, so I became an Addick).
Nice one, eddie. When you enlarge the picture, there's a very faint 'Close' button in the bottom right hand corner, click on that and it takes you back to the thread. I raised the point about away allocation on the Fulham board as it looked like Wisla Krakow had half the ground when they played there in the Europa League. They had 7000 there (!) and had all the away end and half the Old Stand that butts up to The Cottage, so I guess that's what we'll get too.
Well, ironic certainly, as a couple of weeks ago SAF walked out of a press conference when a journalist had the temerity to suggest that United were 'struggling in Europe'. Worst referee I've seen in Europe for some time tonight - the amount of off the ball stuff he and his four merry men have missed has been astounding.
Not sure, details are sketchy but apparently their is squabbling over the day of the game as chelsea are also at home, they are happy to play on sunday, fulham and charlton are happy for a saturday game but chelseas opponents portsmouth are not happy about the sunday, once this is resolved, the neccessary info will be released.
Good, positive stuff from CP. No equivocation, no hidden messages, we're there to win. What do you want him to say. "I cant see us beating this lot"....
Could be both Man C and Man U in the Europa Cup !! - wouldnt be surprised if they meet in the final !
Ref behind the goal useful as ever. Doesn't look like he saw that one went behind the line. At least the ref made the call.
