Adama Traore

That is somewhere between a push and a punch to the face. Can't believe that boro had the nerve to appeal, but to have it rescinded is baffling. Questions need to be asked as to why it was rescinded.

Got it ! It was Kenwynne Jones. Having received fingertips to the chest , the West Ham player put hands to his face and collapsed as if his legs had disappeared. His manager gave some excuse about having recovered from a nose injury and had to protect himself.
Yeh I’m thinking of another incident

Vince I think you are on about us v Chelsea - Kilbane and Graham-le-saux were running towards the touchline at the north end of the east stand and Le-saux just stuck his elbow in Kilbane's face and he went down. Kilbane got up, pushed him in the chest and got sent off. Happened right in front of me it's a good job I was in the top tier or I could of been on the pitch!
That’s right I remember it now cheers

Had a feeling it was Jones! Cheers!

I remember both of those incidents, and the sense of injustice at the time. Since then I have watched Barry with interest and he sure is crafty, and I wish that we had had Everton's luck - Rodwell out and Barry in was a master stroke.

It was much worse than that. The physio put ICE on Herita Ilunga’s face insinuating that he’d been punched. The player cheated and the staff cheated in that one. Nowhere near as bad as this incident
