Adam Taggart Sidelined

Bit of bad luck for the lad. Thought his problem was a back injury but apparently it’s a groin and he’s having surgery which will keep him out for 4-6 weeks.

We'll end up not seeing Taggart until around christmas time now, by the time he recovers from his injury and Felix makes sure his fitness is up to scratch, he'll be nowhere near the team until Felix is satisfied on that, so it could be 2-3 months down the line before he's back.

 

Very disappointing. Makes the signing of Smith look even more important.

 

Just to add to his bad luck, all things being equal he could have been playing in this:

"Craven Cottage will host the international friendly fixture between Saudi Arabia and Australia on Monday 8th September, kick-off 8:00pm"
