Anyone heard anything about him buying the old birds eye site to build a new stadium?

 

It's Chinese whispers, what actually happened is he rang the agent up and said "we want a new stadium, can you Findus a site?"

 

I don't quite see the sense of that ? Why would he go to the huge expense of buying a site and building a stadium for a team that plays in a modern stadium paying next to **** all rent ?

 

Could it be like Springtime for Hitler? Rugby league in a new stadium guarantees the losses Adam needs for tax purposes.

 

Hmmmm, a bit drastic to my mind, they say stranger things have happened but I'm ****ed if I can see any logic UNLESS ..................... he's buying it to build a football stadium, buying Hull City and moving it there ............. hotels on the moon anybody ?

 

AP has seen the plans to extend the KC to 80,000 and thinks their crowds will look lost in it.

 

No, Don Robinson wont like it because he wants Hull City to play on the moon.

No, Chazz. Haven't you read the people who tell us we don't get more because we need a bigger stadium and that if we had one we would fill it. Dare to think otherwise and younger branded negative. Not just on this forum either.

It is 1 dot, a full,stop, or 3 dots an ellipsis, at the end of a sentence. Any other number is meaningless.

 

I don't think that is an ellipsis. Doesn't an ellipsis indicate an omission?

 

I wasn't saying it was. Just stating that dots at the end of a sentence should be 1 or 3. 4 dots are meaningless.
Though some people seem to think 3 dots constitute an unfinished thought.
As for gerunds...

That's elision. Ellipsis is '...'. Elision indicated the omission of a sound or syllable.

 

Actually I've seen the plans.....I only got a birds eye view of them but looked impressive

Just imagine the sheer embarrassment of other clubs fans seeing 80,000 people sitting down on MOTD.

 

For once you are right. HDM photos would still manage to feature the dozen or so empty seats as well.

 

If there are any plans for the eggchasers to move out of the KC then Pinnochio Pearson could do worse then have a look at Costello. It could be taken off the councils hands for next to nowt and it is in an ideal position for FC. They only need to build another tin pot stand at the other side of the running track and they would have a replica of the boulevard. Everybody's happy.

 

They're getting a Hull FC sized ground and moving Hull United in with them to try and make them the number 1 football team in the city. That's why Woodhouse and Ash have gone there, they know what's coming.

 

Not unless they make the stand out of urine soaked wood.
