Think Allen gets a lot of unfair stick. But I would rather Adam over an injured Allen. <doh>

Allens been absolutely dire today, doesnt understand that position at all.But that said I still have him over Adam

Dont understand why BR is playin a small bloke ( poss less than 10 stone ) with an injury, low on confidence, in a key PL game, when Hendo has played well the last 3 months, thats assuming Lucas aint 100%

Unfair? Your loyalty to Allen coming good or being better than most believe, but I can't agree with you on any level.

He's painfully average and only looks 'decent' when we're cruising against a poor team with the other 10 players winning the game so he can aimlessly pass it around the half way line. He has not shown me any promise in his time here. Nothing. Never stands up to be counted, never controls a game or grabs it by the neck to drag a win, too lightweight, can't defend (kind of useful attributes needed to play where he wants to!) and his passing is awful lately. Hendo got stick early on, but at least showed glimses. Allen shows nothing.

Never mind the fantastic form Hendo was on in recent months...then gets dropped for BR's love child <doh>. Really poor management.

Should have just kept Spearing this season and saved ourselves 15mill.

  5. As **** as Allen has been, I'd chose him over Charlie 'I can get penalties into orbit' Adam every day of the week!

is there a third choice because I can't bring myself to pick either of them. It's like saying who do you want to babysit your kids Brady or Hindley !

The third player listed should be Spearing. Allen, Adam or Spearing I'd take Spearing any day of the week <ok> For all the criticism he got last season he'd have been a far better option as the holding midfielder this season than Allen.

Allen, he plays for us Adam doesn't. That's all I care about.

Allen is still developing, that's quite obvious, not the finished product. Adam is as good as he is gonna get, Allen can get better.

In short I'd rather have Allen

  9. If we're adding a third choice then I'll say Mascherano <ok>

They are both awful footballers, but Adam represents better value for money imo. Allen was way way overpriced at £15m, £5m would have been more realistic.

  14. Correct, I'm taking the piss. I've already answered seriously above but then someone threw Spearing (I'd have him over the others too) into the mix.

Interesting fact, well maybe not interesting, an argument is not meant to be a row but a technique used in conflict resolution <laugh>
