we should be looking for better than this in my opinion as we have our own youth squad that we should be tapping into without going to other clubs. Bizarre if true..

Shortsighted, Dai. He's obviously being bought for the future. Yes, we should be developing our own (we are) but if someone as good, or better, comes along at a good price then snap him up.

This is Hearts we are talking about here not anyone from the premiership ivor. Hearts are rock bottom and our future looks bright as it is..I have never heard of the lad and he might be good but anyone looks good who shows a bit more effort at hearts at the moment.

Looks like we were after him last August but nothing came of it. He was MOM in a recent friendly against Wolfsburg and is highly rated by the coaching staff at Hearts whilst the fans have described him as "technically gifted". Don't think they want to sell but they're in some financial trouble. There's an article and video here:

A good prospect is still a good prospect regardless of who he plays for .

Don't be ridiculous, Dai has never heard of him so he must be a nobody with no prospect

Don't matter where the boy comes from that's irrelevant he could be the next big thing. If someone said 10 years ago and I'm being hypothetical here that we were signing a young African lad from Ivory Coast would you say he must be crap. Now imagine that his name was Yaya Toure, how bloody silly would we look now ten years on? For all we know in 10 years he could be playing for Real Madrdid and we could be saying how bloody good he was for us. Give the poor bugger a chance for pity's sake

Agree about Donnelly Dai. Looked very good in pre season. Unless of course he isn't pulling his weight in training.

We paid 500,000 for him, and ML brought him in. I think he is going to the top. Also thought he was more effective than Janzui for Utd yesterday <ok>

Pozaelo and Routledge were both better than him . By the way, if I spend any time feeling sorry for a guy not given a chance it would be spent on Jazz cheers
