Ive been one of the more patient fans with this lad but surely enoughs enough now. Its just not happening for him. Thoughts??
not much you can say really , utter rubbish , not the only one , but the biggest buy and the biggest earner
Lets face it hes an expensive flop. Weve played him on the left and right and hes equally as ****. It brings things into perspective how much money weve thrown away when you look at how much Dyer and Routledge cost Swansea.
Hes one of the invincibles with Larson and O'Shea. 3 players make up nearly a quater of the team, hence the fact we're sh!te!
If reports are true then we were also in for him and I wanted him at Newcastle (though suspected Ashley would baulk at his wages and the fact he was actually English). Been surprised at how consistently 'below par' he has been. I recall when we were in the championship and although Newcastle were top the best two players in the league each week seemed to be Taraabt and Johnson as they just tore teams apart. He always seemed inconsistent but on his game looked top top quality. Although I think he is an easy scapegoat in a team which is underperforming its hard to see where he goes now. I think he will still be played as if he can start to click again he can get you good points this season but he needs to start firing soon.
But when do we draw the line how many poor games before he is shall we say rested and he has had the odd fair to good game
Same as Wickham...no heart and no desire...get rid of him and toss in Larsson aswell...I seriously do not envy Poyet his job one bit...really poor today
Yes he was class for Watford but a scape goat he is not. If youd watched him since hed signed for us then youd see hes completely lost it!
Although Johnson has been hitty missy since he came I most certainly would not use him as a scape goat there Is something there waiting to come out
I guess it hinges on a) whether Poyet thinks he get him playing well again b) whether there are better players to come in c) how much you would get for him if you wanted to get rid. I doubt Poyet will take note of which team the players want to be put out each week but he probably can't ignore the wage bill, its hard to disregard highly paid players - takes real balls.
